EquatIO is designed so that text and math naturally align to the right.
Want your text to align to the left?
Before you start writing use "Shift" + "Enter" to create a new line and then "Shift" + "Space" to create a table. Enter your text into the second column. The second column will align to the left.
Want your text to align on the equal sign?
Before you start use "Shift" + "Enter" and then d"Shift" + "Space" twice to create a table with 3 columns. Place your equal sign into the center column. When your students select "Edit Math" They will be able to enter the appropriate math on either side of the equal sign.
PLEASE NOTE: If this is really important to you,you will need to set this up for students. Students will not do this automatically.
