In 2019,
research found that the NHS in Scotland employed 168,194 people. Of these 1,764 were
disabled people [1.04% of the total], 5,585 [3.32%] identified as
Black Minority Ethnic people, 15,400 [9.12%] identified as
Catholic people, and 2,487 [1.47%] identified as
Lesbian, Gay or Bi-sexual people.
