A Scunthorpe Mum has set up a Community Interest Company, called Period Points to help North Lincolnshire residents access period products in times of need. 1 in 10 people struggle to afford period products, so Rochelle Brown, has created a business to make period products available to all who need them.
Currently there are several Period Points in Scunthorpe and one in Kirton-in-Lindsey, but in the imminent future, there will be a Period Point on the Isle of Axholme, based in Haxey. Details will follow. You can find current Period Points here or via the My Period app, which can be downloaded here.
Private Carer, Paige from N.T.S Care provides in home care and support throughout the Isle of Axholme, including in Epworth.

The Priority Services Register (PSR) is a free UK wide service which provides extra advice and support, including when there’s an interruption to your electricity, gas or water supply.
Vulnerable customers (elderly, very ill or disabled people, or those who rely on power for medical equipment) can register directly with their energy supplier to join the Priority Services Register - contact your energy supplier or register via the National Grid website here or via the Priority Services Register website here.
Epworth Charities is a charitable body dedicated to assisting Epworth residents who are in financial need.
The Charity is able to make modest financial grants.
Personal applications are encouraged throughout the year and these are considered on an individual basis.
Applications are treated as strictly confidential and should be made by email or letter to The Honorary Clerk to the Trustees (contact details can be found here).

The Isle of Axholme Foodshare Project
This scheme has now become well established, and around 100 people are benefitting from help from the Pantry each week.
Clients come from all over the Isle, and the Isle of Axholme Food Project make deliveries each week to households in Epworth, Belton, Crowle, Keaby, Luddington and Garthorpe among other places.
Residents are welcome to visit the pantry each Friday morning, between 9:30am and 11:30am or if you cannot attend you can receive a parcel at home.
Unlike the traditional food banks the Isle of Axholme Food Project will collect fresh, chilled and frozen food and food that is close to date. Where possible food will be frozen to preserve it.
