Welcome

This is a community page, dedicated to the historic market town of Epworth, in North Lincolnshire. Epworth is both a historic and civil parish, based with the Axholme Central ward of North Lincolnshire. Historically Epworth has had close connections to Doncaster, Goole and Scunthorpe, being located close to all three. This has led to some confusion about whether Epworth is in Yorkshire or Lincolnshire. According to the Doomsday Book, Epworth is in Lincolnshire.

The Humberside Police Isle of Axholme Central Neighbourhood Team will be holding a surgery for residents of Epworth at the Lemon Tree Tea Room at Holmes and Gardens Garden Centre, Belton Road, Epworth on the following dates:

Humberside Police will be in attendance at the Crowle Agricultural Show between 8am and 6pm on Sunday the 19th of July 2026.

Electricity network operators have introduced an easy-to-remember number to call that will put you through to the local people who can help.

You can now call 105 to report or get information about power cuts in your area.

You can also call 105 if you spot damage to electricity power lines and substations that could put you, or someone else, in danger. If there is a serious immediate risk, you should call the emergency services too.

105 is a free service, available to people in England, Scotland and Wales no matter who you choose to buy electricity from.
