This is a community page, dedicated to the historic market town of Epworth, in North Lincolnshire. Epworth is both a historic and civil parish, based with the Axholme Central ward of North Lincolnshire. Historically Epworth has had close connections to Doncaster, Goole and Scunthorpe, being located close to all three. This has led to some confusion about whether Epworth is in Yorkshire or Lincolnshire. According to the Doomsday Book, Epworth is in Lincolnshire.
