Who we are
ENVIRONMENT ACTION is an interest group of CFUW-Ottawa. We welcome guests to all of our online presentations. You may also attend a group meeting as a guest, but in order to participate in our these meetings on a regular basis, you need to be a member of our parent Club.

Our network: we are linked with with the Environmental Citizens of CFUW-Kanata and with CFUW-Nepean's Environmenal Action Committee as well as with environmental groups in other CFUW clubs across Canada. CFUW's national committee for Environment and Climate Change advocacy is co-chaired by our convenor. We also keep in touch with the Vankleek Hill Nature Society, the For Our Kids Ottawa/Gatineau group, the Ottawa South Eco-Action Network (OSEAN) Grandmothers Act to Save the Planet (GASP), with the Ontario Climate Emergency Campaign (OCEC) team, with Ecology Ottawa, Seniors for Climate Action Now (SCAN), Ottawa's Community Associations for Environmental Sustainability (CAFES), Ottawa Riverkeeper, Safe Wings and other local organizations.
