La obra tendrá este semestre una segunda parte de su gira nacional, siendo una importante muestra en lo que podemos ir considerando como el mes de la Danza Nacional en Chile. Se vienen cuatro presentaciones en el marcos de los Festivales de Danza en Castro (Chiloé Cuerpos en lluvia), Valdivia (Danza Contemporánea junto al Río), Iquique (FINTDANZ), Puerto Montt (FIIN) y en el Parque Cultural de Valparaíso.
Notable experimentación artística en donde el poder de la transformación performativa nos desafía a una comprensión de estudio e investigación interdisciplinaria que es propia de las formas artísticas del arte contemporáneo que se expresa con el cuerpo en movimiento. Estamos frente a una expresión acabada del buen momento con el que cuenta la disciplina de la danza chilena.

AThis semester, the work will have a second part of its national tour, being an important showcase in what we can consider the month of National Dance in Chile. There will be four performances as part of the Dance Festivals in Castro (Chiloé Cuerpos en lluvia), Valdivia (Danza Contemporánea junto al Río), Iquique (FINTDANZ), Puerto Montt (FIIN) and in the Parque Cultural de Valparaíso.
This is a remarkable artistic experiment in which the power of performative transformation challenges us to understand the interdisciplinary study and research that is characteristic of contemporary art forms expressed through the body in motion. We are witnessing a perfect expression of the current momentum of Chilean dance.
En el marco de su Gira Nacional 2025 financiada por el Fondo de las Artes Escénicas, la coreógrafa e intérprete Daniella Santibáñez presenta DEVELAR en el Teatro Biobío el 28 y 29 de mayo a las 19:30 horas, con entradas a la venta por $4.000. Luego, se dirige al Teatro Municipal de Chillán, para presentarse el sábado 31 del mismo mes con entrada liberada.
Sobre la gira nacional del proyecto, la directora Daniella Santibañez indica que como creadora le interesa estar en colaboración con espacios que no son de la región Metropolitana: “por un intento de descentralizar la danza, pero también de ser parte de encuentros y festivales autogestivos de diversas regiones que admiro mucho”, agrega, adelantándose a lo que será su participación en festivales como FIIN en Puerto Montt o Fintdaz en Iquique.

DEVELAR, a dance piece that explores light, begins its National tour at the Teatro Biobío and the Teatro Municiapal de Chillán
As part of her 2025 National Tour, funded by the Performing Arts Fund, choreographer and performer Daniella Santibáñez presents DEVELAR at the Biobío Theatre on 28 and 29 May at 7.30 p.m., with tickets on sale for $4,000. She will then head to the Municipal Theatre of Chillán to perform on Saturday 31 May, with free admission.
Regarding the project's national tour, director Daniella Santibañez says that as a creator she is interested in collaborating with venues outside the Metropolitan Region: ‘in an attempt to decentralise dance, but also to be part of self-managed gatherings and festivals in various regions that I greatly admire,’ she adds, anticipating her participation in festivals such as FIIN in Puerto Montt and FINTDAZ in Iquique.

Develar is the work that dancer Daniella Santibáñez will present in the German city of Düsseldorf, supported by DIRAC through its PACE competition.
Starting on 28 August, our country will be present at the Tanzmesse 2024 International Dance Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a strong delegation of dancers, choreographers, programmers and contemporary dance managers. Among the highlights will be the work ‘Develar’ by national dancer and choreographer Daniella Santibáñez.

The sensations of absolute darkness or light reaching directly into the audience allow the viewer to feel part of this staging.
