Daniella Santibáñez Monasterio

Artista escénica, bailarina y facilitadora. Santiago de Chile.

Su trabajo se desarrolla en el cruce interdisciplinar entre la danza, la experimentación escénica y la performance situada, dando lugar al cuerpo como materialidad central de su investigación. Licenciada en Artes con mención en Danza de la Universidad de Chile, integra en su práctica conocimientos de Osteopatía Tibetana del método Columna Vitae del Dr. Mario Fiore, abordando el cuerpo desde una perspectiva somática y multidimensional. La anatomía vivencial y los ciclos vitales son ejes fundamentales de su investigación, los cuales despliega en sus procesos de creación y en la facilitación de prácticas.

Desde 2020 guía «Bomba Solar», una práctica de improvisación y entrenamiento que vincula la naturaleza interior del cuerpo con su entorno. Su trayectoria incluye una sólida inserción en el ecosistema cultural chileno, siendo reconocida como Mejor performer/intérprete contemporánea en los Premios Muta 2023. Ha colaborado con referentes como Alexandra Mabes, José Vidal, Amanda Piña y Joel Inzunza, labor que la ha llevado a presentarse en diversos escenarios de Latinoamérica y Europa, destacando su participación en TANZKONGRESS 2022 (Mainz) con la pieza Fronteriza y en TANZMESSE 2024 (Düsseldorf) con su solo de danza DEVELAR, obra premiada como Mejor obra de danza en los Encuentros Esenciales 2023.

Actualmente dirige el proyecto colaborativo «Ensayos sobre la luz», desarrollado en residencias en Centro NAVE, Comunidad Escénica y el Centro Coreográfico K3 en Hamburgo. Esta investigación se pregunta por la relación sensible entre el cuerpo y la luz, estableciendo un fuerte vínculo entre la danza y la fotografía análoga. Su trabajo de obra incluye la performance REVELAR (Ventana SUR 2024, GAM 2025) y la pieza DEVELAR, la cual tras presentarse en GAM (2023), FITAM (2024) y TANZMESSE (2024), consolida su trayectoria con una extensa gira por Chile durante el año 2025. En el presente, se encuentra iniciando su tercera creación performativa titulada «El fin del día», además de ser invitada como coreógrafa del proximo proyecto "EXHUMAR" (2026) de Plataforma Mono, obra que conmemora los 10 años del colectivo en Chile.

Her work develops at the interdisciplinary intersection between dance, theatrical experimentation and site-specific performance, placing the body at the centre of her research. With a degree in Arts with a specialisation in Dance from the University of Chile, she integrates knowledge of Tibetan Osteopathy from Dr. Mario Fiore's Columna Vitae method into her practice, approaching the body from a somatic and multidimensional perspective. Experiential anatomy and life cycles are fundamental axes of her research, which she deploys in her creative processes and in the facilitation of practices.

Since 2020, she has been leading ‘Bomba Solar,’ an improvisation and training practice that links the inner nature of the body with its environment. Her career includes a solid insertion into the Chilean cultural ecosystem, being recognised as Best Contemporary Performer/Interpreter at the 2023 Muta Awards. She has collaborated with leading figures such as Alexandra Mabes, José Vidal, Amanda Piña and Joel Inzunza, which has led her to perform on various stages in Latin America and Europe, notably at TANZKONGRESS 2022 (Mainz) with the piece Fronteriza and at TANZMESSE 2024 (Düsseldorf) with her dance solo DEVELAR, which was awarded Best Dance Work at the Encuentros Esenciales 2023.

She currently directs the collaborative project ‘Ensayos sobre la luz’ (Essays on Light), developed in residencies at Centro NAVE, Comunidad Escénica and the K3 Choreographic Centre in Hamburg. This research explores the sensitive relationship between the body and light, establishing a strong link between dance and analogue photography. Her work includes the performance REVELAR (Ventana SUR 2024, GAM 2025) and the piece DEVELAR, which, after being presented at GAM (2023), FITAM (2024) and TANZMESSE (2024), consolidates her career with an extensive tour of Chile during 2025. She is currently beginning her third performance creation entitled ‘El fin del día’ (The End of the Day), as well as being invited as choreographer for Plataforma Mono's upcoming project ‘EXHUMAR’ (2026), a work commemorating the collective's 10th anniversary in Chile.
