DEVELAR es un sólo de danza contemporánea que se pregunta por la fotosensibilidad corporal, es decir, la relación sensible que existe entre el cuerpo, la luz y sus sombras.  La obra propone que los cuerpos están animados por la luz y que la luminosidad no es solo un elemento pasivo y utilitario al servicio de iluminar nuestras formas, sino una entidad propia, actante y vital. Somos formas que adquiere la luz cuando toca el cuerpo. Lo que vemos es sólo el trazo material que deja la luz.

Fue creada a partir del diálogo entre la danza, la fotografía análoga y la creación de dispositivos de vestuario que modifican la arquitectura corporal y su movimiento (Proyecto Interfaces). A su vez la dramaturgia coreográfica se desarrolló de la mano de autores que abordan la luz en relación a la imagen, la espiritualidad y lo viviente.

La pieza se desarrolla como un ritual de metamorfosis que va velando y develando anatomías de cuerpo, de sombra, del haz, del rayo y del ángel, a través de una coreografía que mueve la pregunta por la luz: ¿Cuánto de luz hay en el cuerpo y cuánto de cuerpo hay en la luz?.

DEVELAR (UNVEIL) is a contemporary dance solo that questions the bodily photosensitivity - the sensitive relationship that exists between the body, light and its shadows . The work proposes that bodies are animated by light and that luminosity is not only a passive and utilitarian element at the service of illuminating our forms, but an entity of its own, active and vital. We are forms that light acquires when it touches the body. What we see is only the material trace left by light.

It was created from the dialogue between dance, analog photography and the creation of costume devices that modify the body architecture and its movement (Interfaces Project). At the same time, the choreographic dramaturgy was developed with the help of authors who approach light in relation to image, spirituality and the living.

The piece develops as a ritual of metamorphosis that veils and unveils anatomies of body, shadow, beam, lightning and angel, through a choreography that movilizes the question of light: How much light is in the body and how much body is in the light?

GIRA NACIONAL DEVELAR 2025

Durante este 2025, la obra ha emprendido una gira nacional que ha incluido no solamente funciones, sino también instancias de mediación como talleres y conversatorios, pasando por las ciudades de Concepción y Chillán durante el primer semestre. En primavera, la gira continuará por otras ciudades como Castro, Valdivia, Valparaíso, Iquique y Puerto Montt.

During 2025, the performance has embarked on a national tour that has included not only performances, but also mediation events such as workshops and discussions, passing through the cities of Concepción and Chillán during the first half of the year.
