Students got an insight about orchids in the New York Botanical Garden which helped students see beautiful plants and indoor rainforests that they will see during the trip to Puerto Rico (4/2/26-4/10/26)

On this trip the students saw many differtent species of orchids and flowers that ususally don't grow in the city...
On day two students got to see a bunch of different types of orchids at the orchid show hosted by Mr.Flower fantastic

The Jamaica Bay salt marsh is a vital coastal ecosystem in Jamaica Bay that supports diverse wildlife, protects shorelines, and helps filter water.
The forested areas around Jamaica Bay consist of coastal woodlands that provide habitat for birds and small animals while helping stabilize the land and protect the marsh from erosion.

The birdlife in Jamaica Bay is especially rich, with species like herons, egrets, ospreys, and migratory shorebirds using the salt marsh as a crucial feeding, nesting, and resting habitat along the Atlantic Flyway.
Day 4 el museo del barrio
This art shows what puerto ricans enjoyed to draw and make and this stood out to the people so it was displayed into the museum.
This art really sticks out because it represents Puerto rican and nuyerican people of NYC
We went to eat puerto rican food and this shows us things we will experience while we are on the trip and we can compare food from New York and Puerto rico...
In the spot they had a bunch of variations of food to chose from which was a wonderful time because we all enjoyed the food...
This food was one of the most amazing part of the trip as we enjoyed it they had a pizza version and beef version
