Minimum Age Requirements

Minimum age requirements are set out by the Royal Academy of Dance and reflect the age and development of the dancers. Dancers must be the required minimum age by the 31st December 2024.

Lyrical/Free Movement - 3-7yr old (not an Royal Academy of Dance class).

Pre Primary - 5 years

Primary - 6 years

Grade 1 - 7 years

Grade 2 - 8 years

Grade 3 - 9 years

Grade 4 - 10 years

Grade 5 - 11 years
