Duke University Hospital Junior Volunteer Summer Program
Volunteers ages 16-17 provide service to patients and families. Roles include providing directions to patients and families, serving in the gift shops, and helping ease wait times for families in waiting areas.

WakeMed Junior Volunteering
Volunteers ages 16-18 will begin as Guest Ambassadors in order to learn the facility and feel comfortable in the healthcare environment before moving to other areas.
Summer (June/July/August) Track Application Opens First Monday of April between 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Fall Track (October/November/December) Application Opens First Monday of August between 2:30- 4:30 p.m.
Spring (March/April/May) Track Application Opens First Monday of January between 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
