MBSA is Enloe's Medical BioScience Academy. We focus on providing the foundations of knowledge for the medical field, while providing numerous medical-based oppurtunities.
Volunteering opportunities, Lenovo app challenge, internship opportunities, hospital tours, college tours, puppet shows, courses providing foundational knowledge for the medical field, certifications, team building, studying with like-minded people, etc. Check out our programs tab for more detailed information regarding these activities.

These are community service projects that are organized by the s-project coordinators throughout the year. There are no minimum number of s-projects requirement this year but students are encouraged to participate in these to obtain inside hours.
8 general meetings required (mandatory team building, field trips, and grade-level meetings are not included)
Inside hours are hours students can earn from volunteering opportunities through MBSA, while outside hours are hours students obtain from volunteering through external nonprofit organizations.
Each year students are required to obtain 30 (inside and outside) hours, totaling 120 hours by the end of their senior year. Submit outside hours through community service sheet on MBSA Google Classroom or website under 'Forms'. Summer hours are due by the first 10 days of school. Only documented hours for non-family members will count.
It is a nonprofit organization that aims to educate children in NC from preschoolers through twelfth graders on various health topics to encourage them to increase positive health behaviors. MBSA students are required to attend one of their interactive online lessons annually.
