Hello everyone, today i am going to talk about the article “Here’s What Companies Are Promising to Do to Fight Racism” by Gillian Friedman. I will review the article using rhetorical analysis to dig deeper to see the bigger picture of how they want to make a change. Many different companies are doing different things to fight against racism, I won't be comparing what each one will do but how they go about doing it and seeing how they feel about doing it. The tone and true purpose of a company doing something can show if they are truly doing something for the greater good or if it is to benefit themselves. I will point out the main point, the purpose and who their audience is. Finding out if the author is biased or not towards the companies they put or didn't put on the list. New york times works hard to show the good that people are doing and how they are making a change. I will try my best to point out the most important part of this article. In the end what are companies doing to fight racism?
