As a person you grow each day and with the help of a few teachers they have helped me along the way. I have learned many new things this semester. It was brought to my attention the three different rhetorical appeals, before this year I never heard about them and now knowing them it has made my writing some much easier to understand and do. Due to covid many things have changed like face to face things and I struggled with that but this class taught me how to work online with people and do a good job and still get things done. I have set goals for myself outside of this class, I have tried to read more and extend my vocabulary. I learned the importance of peer review because it is an honest opinion of people you don't really know that are only trying to help you make something better. The best advice I could give anybody is that I had to learn the hard way is to always plan and write out whatever project or essay you are doing. Doing this will not only make it easier on you but it will make sure you have all the right information to get a good grade. I have and will probably always struggle with punctuation and if I am using something in the right way or place. Having a teacher who is willing to help you like Dr. McGinnis is a great thing when writing an essay when you are needing help. To grow in something you first have to point out your weaknesses. For me I had many, I took this class last semester and this semester. English has never been a good subject for me, I struggled with it all through highschool and now college.
