STEP 1: Go to this website and make a mindmap of the information you find there about the differences in spelling, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

STEP 2: Go to this website and add the information about the difference in pronunciation to your mindmap.

STEP 3: Post (a picture of) your mindmap in the correct upload zone.

STEP 4: Listen to the different videos and repeat the word. Practice your pronunciation in both British and American English. 

STEP 5: Can you spot the accent? Take the quiz and find out.

STEP 1: Look for a short article (level 2) on the website News in levels.

STEP 2: Practice on reading the article out loud in both an American and British accent.

STEP 3: Take a printscreen of the article. Put it on a slide in a PowerPoint presentation. Duplicate this slide. On the first slide you put American English as a title. On the second slide, you put British English as a title.

STEP 4: Make an audio recording in PowerPoint to record your two versions of the article.

STEP 5: Post your PowerPoint presentation in the correct upload zone.
