Revision Policy:
Revisions encourage students to continuously improve in their writing. The Unit 1 Essay you submit for this course which did not earn a “B” or above can be revised for a higher grade. Tests, Quizzes, Writing Process assignments, Discussion Board assignments, the Unit 2 and 3 Projects, and the Final Essay Exam CANNOT be revised.
To revise an assignment, you must have submitted it on time and used my feedback to improve the quality of the work. Plagiarized work cannot be resubmitted.
For revising written assignments, follow these steps.
Step 1: Track your changes. For example, additions to the draft should be underlined, whereas omissions to the draft should include a strikethrough. Highlight Changes in yellow to make them easier to find.
Step 2: New drafts must be re-submitted to the appropriate submission link on Canvas.
Step 3: Include a brief explanation in the submission comment on Canvas, describing what was revised and why. It is highly recommended that you visit my office hours, schedule an appointment, or get help from a tutor before submitting a revision.
