Milton Poetical Work 1847
This book includes major poetic works. Milton focuses on literature in poem and prose's that present a timeline of Milton's life. He does this by integrating sources such as the bible, popular literary works, and his own poetry. It is an autobiography of Milton's life. Autobiographies we're very new during this time.

Like Milton, during this time Fredrick Douglas has also released an autobiorgaphy. Although completely different experiences and its effect on history, both of these authors has prefaced statements from other authors or friends.
