Course Participation and Engagement

You will also get credit toward participate when you complete participation tasks, which include attending class, submitting work on time, attending office hours, consulting campus resources, submitting in-class writing and out-of-class reflections, and completing additional writing and writing process tasks.

There are two graded items associated with participation and engagement.

• You receive credit for one graded item when you reach 5 participation milestones, and complete projects 2 and 3

• You receive credit for one graded item when you reach 10 participation milestones, and complete projects 2 and 3

Assignments will be considered “on time” when you submit by 11:59pm on the common due date or renegotiate an individual due date in advance. 

Additional opportunities will be added to this document as the quarter progresses. I invite you to propose possible engagement opportunities to add to the list below.
