Simplification on the assembly drawing
Simplification on the assembly drawing
It is allowed not to show: chamfers, roundings, recesses, protrusions and other small elements; gaps between the rod and the hole (at the initial stage of training, it is not recommended to use these abbreviations); covers, casings, flywheels and other components of the product, if it is necessary to show other parts of the product that they cover. In these cases, an inscription is made above the corresponding image, for example: Cover pos. 3 is not shown. Inscriptions on plates and brand strips are also not shown. In this case, only their contour is depicted.
Adjacent parts in sections and cross-sections are highlighted with hatching of different directions and density, the same for each part in all images or the hatching lines are shifted in one section relative to another.
Do not cut or hatch in longitudinal sections such parts as shafts, axles, rods, balls, bolts, etc., if they do not have internal cavities, as well as nuts and washers. It is allowed to depict the components of products and elements located behind transparent objects as visible, for example, scales, instrument arrows, etc.
The contours located behind a helical spring, which is depicted only by sections of the turns, are depicted up to the area defined by the axial lines of the turns.
The components that are designed in an independent assembly drawing are depicted uncut in sections. It is allowed to perform a full image of one repeating component, and the images of other parts are performed in a simplified form of external outlines.
A welded, soldered, glued, etc. product made of a homogeneous material assembled with other products in sections and cross-sections is hatched in one direction. The boundary between the parts of the product is depicted by a main line (Figure 6.4.1).
