Scales GOST 2.302 – 68
Scales GOST 2.302 – 68
The scale is the ratio of the linear dimensions of the image in the drawing to its actual dimensions.
Mostly, drawings are made so that the dimensions of the image and the object itself are the same, that is, on a scale of 1:1. However, depending on the size and complexity of the object, as well as the type of drawing, it is often necessary to increase or decrease the dimensions of the image compared to the actual ones. In these cases, the image is built to scale.
Depending on the complexity and size of the depicted products, the scales, according to GOST 2.302 – 68, are chosen from the following series:
Reduction scales – 1:2; 1:2.5; 1:4: 1:5; 1:10; 1:15; 1:20; 1:25; 1:40;
1:50; 1:75; 1:100; 1:200; 1:400; 1:500; 1:800; 1:1000.
Actual value – 1:1.
Magnification scales – 2:1; 2.5:1; 4:1; 5:1; 10:1; 20:1; 40:1; 50:1; 100:1.
When designing master plans of large facilities, the following scales are allowed: 1:2000; 1:5000; 1:10000; 1:20000; 1:25000; 1:50000.
