An assembly drawing (code – SK) is performed at the stage of development of working design documentation based on a technical or draft design. It contains (GOST 2.109-73):
a) an image of an assembly unit (with a minimum but sufficient number of views, sections and cross-sections), which gives an idea of the placement and interaction of the components that are connected according to this drawing, and ensures the possibility of its assembly (manufacturing) and control. The image of simple products must be limited to one view or section, if this is sufficient for assembly (Figure 6.1.1).

It is allowed: to place on the SK drawing diagrams of the connection and placement of the product's component parts and to provide data on the operation of the product and the interaction of its parts; to depict the moving parts of the product in extreme and intermediate positions with the appropriate dimensions, as well as neighboring products ("settings"), and in sections and cross-sections the "settings" are not hatched;
b) dimensions - overall, installation, connecting and other reference dimensions, for example, thread designations, gear wheel parameters;
c) item numbers.
