Information: As a faculty member, you will receive a Faculty Service to the College survey in February. On the survey, you will signify your interest and availability to serve on college-wide committees and task forces. The Council Effectiveness Committee then takes the survey results and attempts to place faculty in the assignments of choice. You will be notified in April as to any committees you have been appointed to. (Note: Pay close attention to the survey notes as some committees require a limited number of faculty from select School departments. Also, you may not get selected for your choices since there are often several faculty applying for a limited number of positions.)
Time Commitment: Varies based on committee – All time commitments are listed on the survey.
Sign-Up Information: Survey comes out in the spring (Example of some of the committees: Academic Affairs Council, Believe Committee, Campus Caring Team, Engaged Learning Advisory Group, Foundation Scholarship Application Reviewer Group, General Education Committee...)
