ENEAR history and past events
ENEAR was founded in December 2014 by Alexandra van den Abbeele from KU Leuven (Belgium), Anna Gold from VU University in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Victor Maas from the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands).
The first ENEAR event was a two-day summer school for doctoral students and junior faculty members hosted by the University of Amsterdam in July 2015. The first biennial ENEAR conference took place in Leuven, Belgium in June 2017.
