CONFERENCE PRACTICALITIES

The conference will be held entirely on the Erasmus University Woudestein campus. The Doctoral Colloquium is planned in the Mandeville Building, the Opening and plenary sessions in the Van der Goot Building, and the parallel sessions in the Langeveld Building. 

More specific location information will be available once the conference program is finalized. 

Lunch and drinks/snacks will be provided.

TRAVEL PRACTICALITIES

Erasmus University - Woudestein Campus is situated at the Burgemeester Oudlaan 50 in Rotterdam. The campus can easily be reached by car or with public transportation.


Public transportation


RET is the independent public transport company that serves the southern part of the Randstad conurbation. With the trams or subway of the RET, you can travel to the campus.


From Rotterdam Central Station


- Rotterdam Central Station has a direct train connection to Schiphol Airport. The journey only takes between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on which train you take. Trains are running very frequently (almost 200 trains per day) and 24 hours per day.


- From Rotterdan central you can take Tram 7 (direction: "Woudestein") or Tram 21 (Direction "De Esch") or the Metro.


- Tram 7, direction Woudestein, stop 'Erasmus Universiteit'.


- Tram 21 or 24 direction De Esch. Stop 'Woudestein'.


- Metro, direction Slinge. Transfer at Beurs, to subway in the direction of Binnenhof, Nesselande or De Terp. Get off the metro at stop ‘Kralingse Zoom’. This metro station is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.


From Rotterdam Alexander Station 


Metro, direction Schiedam Centrum or De Akkers. Get off the metro at stop ‘Kralingse Zoom’. This metro station is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.
