The following drawing packages represent the finalized preliminary design for the 240 King Street mixed-use development. Derived from our coordinated BIM and structural models, these documents detail the architectural programming, civil site servicing, and the hybrid cast-in-place/precast structural systems necessary to execute the project.
This package details the functional programming and code-compliant egress for the 7-storey facility. It includes the site plan, underground parkade (Level P1), main floor commercial (Level 1), second-floor daycare and amenities (Level 2), the typical residential layouts (Levels 3-7), and the rooftop event space.
This package illustrates the load path resolutions and foundation strategies for The King's Corner. It includes framing plans for the CIP concrete commercial podium and the precast concrete residential superstructure. Beam, column, and foundation details are enhanced with comprehensive structural schedules at the end of the package.
This package defines the site's integration with the City of Winnipeg's municipal infrastructure. It includes the final site grading plan for the hybrid stormwater management system (detention tank and bioretention planters) , as well as the split-frontage tie-in locations for domestic water on King Street and combined sewage on Alexander Avenue.
