Transforming an underutilized brownfield site at 240 King Street, The King's Corner is a proposed seven-storey mixed-use development designed to elevate the downtown Winnipeg skyline. The facility integrates one level of underground parking, divisible ground-floor commercial space, and a second-floor licensed childcare facility. The upper five storeys accommodate 45 residential units and premium rooftop penthouse suites.
By pairing a robust cast-in-place concrete podium with a factory-manufactured precast residential superstructure, this design ensures a 50-year service life, exceptional acoustic isolation for tenants, and the ability to confidently maintain the construction schedule through Winnipeg's harsh winters.
