An I-O psychology degree allows me to apply psychological theories to the workplace to improve organizational performance. With a firm understanding of the history and context of I-O psychology, the discoveries of the field related to work motivation, human performance, and organizational theory, I can make practical and effective recommendations to address business needs.

Patterns of Synchrony between Personal Energy & Recovery Quality

This poster provides an overview of my master's thesis research project which explored patterns of personal energy and recovery and their impact on an individual's health, well-being, and other work-related outcomes (i.e., performance, commitment, and engagement). 

Organizational Assessment of Functioning & Effectiveness

In conducting an organizational development and functioning assessment for Five Star Food Service, I analyzed the company's internal systems, processes, and culture to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. Using an evidence-informed approach, I presented recommendations for enhancing the organization's overall effectiveness and achieving its strategic goals.

SOS: Strengthening Organizational & Social Support Among Paramedics

I developed a translational action plan for improving worker health and safety among paramedics which involved identifying and addressing key risk factors through targeted interventions and training programs, aimed at promoting physical and psychological well-being in the workplace.

Meeting the Expectations of the Post-Pandemic Workforce

This paper addresses a company struggling to transition from the pre-pandemic to post-pandemic workforce. I define the expectations of the post-pandemic workforce, explain organizational theories related, and provide recommendations.

Asynchronous Training Design

As a part of my graduate level HR training course, I had the opportunity to work with Unum as a learning & development consultant. I conducted a thorough gap analysis to determine necessary training content for a pilot leadership development program. Using Canvas, I developed a sample asynchronous leadership development training program that provided practical recommendations based on gap analysis results.

Work Analysis Consulting

As part of a collaborative effort, our cohort conducted a work analysis of job descriptions for Zaxby's. The analysis involved collecting job descriptions and interviewing employees and managers to identify job requirements to improve recruitment, training, and job matching processes.
