These projects demonstrate my first attempts to create visual aids for the classroom using Canva. Through the Digital Technologies for Inclusion course assignments, I learned that instructors can use Canva to quickly and easily create classroom visual aids and lesson materials like infographics, graphic organizers, lesson plans, and worksheets. For English language learners, visual aids can help bridge the language gap, activate prior knowledge, and simplify complex information. I have also found that students enjoy using Canva to create their own presentations and posters, and I hope to incorporate Canva-based projects in my future classroom to help engage language learners, encourage peer collaboration, and build student digital literacy skills.
