Want to sign up your daughter as a Girl Scout?
Cadettes are mid-way through their Scout expeirence. They continue to try new experiences (and learn new skills) as they earn new badges. They may choose to take part in a Girl Scout Leadership Journey and then earn the Silver Award, the highest award a Cadette can earn. Cadettes may gain confidence as they mentor younger Girl Scouts (earning thier Leadership in Action award in the process) or be recognized for their leadership at school (earning the Silver Torch Award) or for their commitment to Scouts (earning the Service to Girl Scouts Bar). Cadettes can be and do anything they put their mind to!

Cadette/Senior/Ambassador Program Opportunity
Girl Scouts is marking the 100th year of votes for women with a new “Suffrage Centennial” patch. Jean Sinzdak, Associate Director of the Center for American Women in Politics (a unit of the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers), has graciously agreed to serve as a facilitator (in person or virtually) and help any older troop earn the patch. Jean’s program is based on the materials from the packet we’ve included below and runs about 2 ½ hours (including time for a hands-on project). To learn more about Jean and the patch use the links below. For info on the program, email Amy at agdgreekgirl@yahoo.com
