Ms. Barnhart is a native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who earned her Associates Degree in Specialized Business in Legal Assistance. Her experience and training was derived while working as the Office Manager and Legal Assistant for Attorney John D. Gibson beginning in 2014 up until Attorney Gibson's retirement in 2022. Ms. Barnhart was recognized by the Social Security Administration as a EDPNA (Eligible Direct Pay Non Attorney), upon passing the exam in September 2022, and has been representing claimants at the hearing level since that time.
