Leading up to the in-person July workshop in Maine, participants will engage with a series of Zoom gatherings in order to develop a community of practice and prepare themselves videographically for what they plan to make at the workshop. Participants will be encouraged to familiarise themselves with the foundations of videographic criticism by making short works-in-progress (for example, the videographic exercises found here), or another exercise developed during the Zoom sessions (or even an exercise of their own making!).
