The camping area taken up by LROC members - Two groups did bush camping further up the mountain and braai'ed with us in the evenings
As always, good things must always come to an end so one can look forward to another great trip. Most of the group of 11 vehicles and 21 people were heading home, each with their own timeline. Mike and I packed camp within an hour and did the rounds to wish everyone a safe trip home.
We left camp at 08h00 and we drove in convoy. The roads were not very busy and I arrived home at 12h48.
The 379km trip from the Old Mill Drift to Centurion took 4h25 excluding the 30min stop in Bethlehem where Mike had to fill up his vehicle.
