I joined Dr. Wiemers' Lab during my sophomore year, and ever since I've loved diving into all things cognition and memory. I've spent a lot of time in the lab working on my honors thesis, which looks at how different affective states impact visual working memory. After graduation, I'm hoping to pursue a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology, so I can keep exploring this area, especially as it relates to clinical populations. In my free time, I love reading, playing the drums and guitar, going for walks, and playing golf!
I joined Dr. Wiemers' lab because I was looking for a psychology lab that would challenge me to become a better student researcher as well as potentially develop my own future study. I'm currently working towards getting my Bachelors in Psychology and Business Management and I have post-grad plans of getting my MBA with the ultimate goal of becoming an HR Manager. Outside of school, I love playing volleyball, baking, and most recently doing jiu jitsu!
I joined Dr. Wiemers lab because I have always had an interest in psychology even though I did not come in as a Psychology major. I took this opportunity to be able to learn more about cognition and memory with developing skills in a research setting. I plan to go to medical school and am interested in pursuing something related to psychology within the medical field. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, going for walks, baking and discovering new music!
