Hello!
I am a scientist, broadly trained in cognition and quantitative methods. My research is primarily focused on attention, memory, and cognitive control, in younger and older adults. I am an Assistant Professor at Bradley University.
Prior to joining Bradley, I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with Dr. Hunter Ball at the University of Texas at Arlington. I earned my PhD in Cognitive Psychology in August 2020 from Purdue University, under the mentorship of Dr. Tom Redick. While at Purdue, I earned a master of science degree in 2016 and a graduate certificate in psychological statistics in 2019. Before coming to Purdue, I completed a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Psychology at Elmhurst College (now Elmhurst University) in 2014.

Fun fact: My last name is pronounced "WEE mers". It's German in origin. I don't speak any German, but I do know enough French to get around a French-speaking country and I'm trying to get Spanish up to a similar level.
