Name of Activity/Game: Data Detectives 

Objective : M.2.4.1.1. Collects data by asking questions about any problem or subject, classifies it, makes a tree diagram, tally or arrange them in the form of a frequency table; Creates object and shape graphics. 

The teacher enters the classroom with the Bobo toy and says that Bobo is curious about the class's most popular season and activity. Student asks the students to collect detailed data on this subject.The teacher divides the students into 2 groups by giving them numbers 1-2. Group 1 was asked "What is the most popular season in the class?" It gives the question (summer or winter). Group 2 was asked "The most popular activity in the class?" It gives the question (playing snowballs or swimming). Each group collects data from the entire class.To collect data, students take worksheets and collect data from their classmates. They combine the data and draw a frequency table. Then they create a picture chart based on this table. The teacher gives students the option to color the graph using emoji.Students paste the frequency table and bar graphs in the worksheets onto colored papers and hang them on the board.The teacher tells the students to interpret these graphs and answer the questions prepared for Bobo. Each correctly answered question earns the groups 1 point.In this way, students collect data, create graphs and make presentations, so they have fun and practice statistics and graphs.
