The 2025 NFL shooting caused filming new elevators to slow down to decrease suspicion of wrongdoings, which as elevator enthusiasts is not condoned.
Step 1: Press the call button. The call button is just a regular button on the outside.
Step 2: Press the floor you want to go to on the COP. (Cab Operation Panel)
Step 3: Wait for the elevator to level, then get off.
Step 4: Under no circumstances should you hold the door for a long time. If you hold it for a long time, the door will force-close on its own. (Nudge mode)
Step 5: If for any reason you get stuck, you can press the "alarm bell" button.
Step 6: If you want to close the door on your own, you can press the button next to an icon in the form of a butterfly.
Step 7: In case you want the doors to open, you can do so by pressing the button next to an icon in the form of two opposite direction-triangles with a divider in the middle. Keep in mind, some elevator button panels have the "doors open and close" buttons rearranged.
Step 8: If the floor button does not work on a daily basis, it may be locked off.
Step 1: Get your device/camera.
Step 2: For best quality, set your camera/device to 720p. (Make sure you have enough storage!!! If not, film at a lower quality)
Step 3: Start from the bottom floor. (if locked, press the lowest button open to the public)
Step 4: Press the button that leads to the top floor. (if locked, press the highest button open to the public)
Step 5: As the elevator moves, be sure to put the whole interior on camera, but not too fast!
Step 6: Go back down to the bottom floor. (Or the lowest floor open to the public)
Step 7: Switch elevators. (if you live in a building with only one elevator, end it on step 9)
Step 8: Do everything on steps 4, 5, and 6 again.
Step 9: End the ride at the lobby.
Step 10: Do a virtual tour of the lobby. (If you want.)
Step 11: Edit a warning page at the beginning of the video saying it's located in a private property.
Step 12: Edit your elevator video with Specialized AI Vocal Removers. (If the elevator has voicelines, only keep that part in!)
