The 2025 NFL shooting caused filming new elevators to slow down to decrease suspicion of wrongdoings, which as elevator enthusiasts is not condoned.
The 1 Line barely gets reports of crazy people (I think), it serves areas in upper Manhattan, and a small portion of the Bronx. The line is the only line to be elevated in Manhattan. It's also the only line to go back above ground, just for one station. It serves areas near Riverdale which also barely gets reports of crazy people.
The 7 Line has to be one of the most scenic lines, especially entering Queensboro Plaza. The 7 Train offers views of Manhattan and Queens Plaza, which look a lot more scenic at night in my opinion. The line also serves the Flushing neighborhood, which is one of my favorite areas.
The Q Line is another one of the most scenic lines on the NYC subway system. As you're riding, you see suburban houses pass by stop after stop after stop on the Brighton Line. I prefer the R46 model on the Q Line.
