I'm an Assistant Professor at the Philosophy Department of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I recently received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Southern California, where I mainly worked with Robin Jeshion, Mark Schroeder, Alexis Wellwood, John Hawthorne, and Scott Soames. My research interests encompass philosophy of language, philosophy of mind and cognitive science, and social philosophy.

Before coming to USC, I completed a master's degree in cognitive science at the Ruhr-University Bochum, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy and German literature studies at the University of Siegen.

I was born in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and grew up in Wolfsburg, Germany.

When I'm not doing philosophy, I'm doing mischief with this guy.
