I'm an Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Department of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I'm also an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department. Starting 2022, I'll be an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at UMass Amherst. I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Southern California in 2020.

My research interests are in philosophy of mind and cognitive science, philosophy of language, and social philosophy.

Before coming to USC, I completed a master's degree in cognitive science at the Ruhr-University Bochum, and a bachelor's degree in philosophy and German literature studies at the University of Siegen.

I was born in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and grew up in Wolfsburg, Germany.

When I'm not doing philosophy, I'm doing mischief with this guy.
