Middle Gate (Gate #3 where the 2 assigned teachers are on duty)
Building 9 (where the security staff and assigned teachers are on duty)
Scheduling assignments to be arranged by the Elementary Section Office. It is a 45-minute period class.
Supervisors/Securities are to escort any late students.
The flag line up is on 6:55 am.
Parents, guardians, nannies, and van/personal drivers are not allowed to pick up students from the classrooms.
Grade 1 and Grade 2 Teachers or Teacher Assistants must be the ones to bring students down to the Ground Floor of Building 9.
The person responsible for pick-up signs the attendance sheets at the time of the pick-up (Grade 1-2). Pick up area is by the side of B9.
Students from Grade 3-5 are allowed to leave on their own.
Tutoring Students:
Tutoring students from G3-5 must be in front of the Snack bar or Gate #3 to wait for their parents to pick them up after tutoring is done.
For G.1-2, their after-school teachers will be the ones who send them down at the back door of B9 by 4:00 pm.
4:15 pm until 6:00 pm. ES students who doesn't have anymore tutorials are not allowed to stay in the EIS campus.
Recognition Day is an annual event especially for honor students.
Gold Medalists - 3.7 and above.
Silver Medalists - 3.5-3.69
In order to be qualified for honor recognition, these students must have:
At least “B” grade every subjects for 3 Quarters
Demerit points (deduction must not exceed 10 points)
Grade 5 to Grade 6
Advance Math
Criterion 1: A cumulative Math grade (combination of Quarter 1-3) of B and above
Criterion 2: NWEA MAP score of 225 and above in Math
Regular Math
Students who do not meet the above criteria will go for Regular Math.
Students are expected to be in school every school day. No refund on tuition will be made because of being absent. Excused absences may only be granted by EIS Leadership and are always subject to the discretion of school’s administrators, principals, or administrative staff regardless of the reason (personal, medical, or otherwise). The student is responsible for asking teachers to make up work on the first day back in school after the absence or before leaving on an anticipated absence.
An excused absence means that the student can make up the work which was missed with full credit given.
An unexcused absence means the student can make up the test/assignment missed but may receive no credit for it.
Please informed the homeroom teacher for one to two days absence, but more than two days please fill in the Students' Anticipated Absence Form from Elementary Office (Room 435). Please refer to the Student handbook for more information.
Report Cards are an integral part of the school academic culture. The purpose of a report card is to inform a child’s parents of his or her academic progress during/for the whole school year.
Timing of receiving report cards are the following:
SPTC - At the end of first quarter and third quarter
2nd Week of Summer School during the registration - 4th Quarter Grade
Report cards are given by their homeroom teachers during SPTC appointment. The 4th quarter report cards will be distributed by the Registrar’s Office when parents and students come for registration usually in the 2nd week of Summer School.
