This Ramadan, I decided to volunteer with EidAid as it supports a great cause of feeding the less fortunate of Yemen. Hey, I am a 17 year old female living in Canada who is graduating this year. Often when you reach this point, you are told that you are “going into the real world.” This made me realize that as I enter society, the amount of issues and problems that are overlooked is dreadful. Being able to live a sustainable life is a privilege not many have. Therefore, I wanted to take this opportunity to help those who need it the most. EidAid is an admirable and simple way to give out a helping hand to a cause we cannot omit.
