  • We The Students Scholarship - The We the Students Essay Contest focuses on the principles of the Constitution and their relevance today. The Contest is open to all United States citizens or legal residents who are students who are no older than 19 and no younger than 14 as of the end of the Contest Period who (1) attend school in the United States, one of its territories or districts, or an American Armed Forces School Abroad, and (2) who are in grades 8 -12 attending public, private, religious, or charter schools, or (3) are enrolled in a GED or correspondence school program, or (4) are attending a home school program.

  • Collegeboard Opportunity Scholarship -multiple deadlines. Students may enter drawing every month for completion of different tasks.

  • Coolidge Scholars - Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are high school juniors and will enroll full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university as an undergraduate for the first time in the fall semester after HS graduation

  • Fraternal Scholarship - Open to high school juniors and seniors who are members of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

  • Hamilton Award - Award is open to high school juniors who are college bound with a strong record of community service and academic achievement. Student must have financial and/or personal need.

  • Gates Scholars - Scholarship is open to exceptional, Pell-eligible, minority, high school seniors who are student leaders. Ideal candidates will have an outstanding academic record in high school (top 10% of graduating class), demonstrated leadership ability, and exceptional personal success skills.

  • GE – Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program

  • Girl Scouts Awards and Scholarships

  • Golden Eagle Coins Scholarship Program - Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Applicant must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives of others and submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting documentation. All submissions must be uploaded no later than 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month. The submission window closes starting the 21st and will reopen on the 1st at 8:00 a.m.

  • Hispanic Scholarship Fund

  • Horatio Alger Association Scholarship - Scholarship is open to high school seniors in the United States who demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income). Applicant must be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. Deadline Oct. 26

  • Huddle for Heroes

  • Huntington’s College Scholarship Sweepstakes - this does not count for an AVID scholarship grade as it's a sweepstakes but you're welcome to enter on your own

  • Huntley Wealth Care Scholarship - Open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who have lost at least one parent and that parent either had no life insurance or were underinsured. Applicant must submit an article or video sharing their story about their loss and how it financially impacted their life.

  • IAAP Education Foundation Scholarship

  • Illustrators of the Future Contest - Contest is open to new and amateur artists who have not been professionally published and paid for more than three black-and-white story illustrations, or more than one process-color painting, in media distributed broadly to the general public.

  • Innovation in Education Scholarship - Scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in high school or college within the United States with at least 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be a citizen of, permanent resident, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada.   • Questbridge Scholars - Program is open to high school seniors who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or students, regardless of citizenship, currently attending high school in the United States. Applicant must have primarily A’s in the most challenging courses available, be in the top 5-10% of their graduating class, and have strong standardized test scores (if taken). Finalists typically come from households earning less than $65,000 annually for a family of four, and often less. The program is only open for students considering one or more of Questbridge’s college partners (see website for details). Often finalists are first generation college students.

  • Wendy’s High School Heisman Award - Open to graduating high school seniors who have participated in one of the 43 sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Associations and sponsored by their school. Applicant must have a GPA of at least 3.0.

  • My Undocumented Life: Scholarship listings compiled by My Undocumented Life, a site that focuses on providing up-to-date information and resources for undocumented and DACA/DREAMer students.

  • The Dream.US: Resources primarily aimed at DREAMers, with many partner programs and organizations providing resources to the aforementioned students!

  • MALDEF: Resources provided by The Latino Legal Voice for Civil Rights in America group. Note that this pdf is for the 2020-2021 school year, so some dates may be out-of-date.
