  • Normally requires 1 year and is designed to get you straight into the workforce

2-year/ Associates Degree

  • Requires 2 years of full-time study at a community college or junior college

  • Can complete your "basics" and transfer to 4-year

  • Junior colleges are community colleges that offer on campus housing and athletics

e.g., Navarro, Blinn, TJC, Kilgore

4-year/ Bachelor's Degree

  • Requires 4 years of full-time study beyond high school at a 4-year college or university

  • Can go directly into the workforce, or allow you to continue on to grad school
