A student does not demonstrate mastery of a skill on an exit ticket or classroom assessment. A low score tells you the student needs support, but it does not necessarily tell you what kind of support they need.
How would you determine whether the student needs the skill retaught or simply needs additional practice? What evidence would you look at before deciding what to do next?
