Select one common instructional need identified in the provided student evidence. Use that need to complete the Small-Group Planning Template.

Your plan should include:

• The identified student need

• Students included in the group

• A clear instructional objective

• An appropriate strategy, task, or resource

• Targeted instruction

• An opportunity for student practice

• A check for understanding

Your instructional objective, strategy, practice, and check for understanding should all align to the identified student need.
