Registered Energy Auditor

A Registered Energy Auditor (REA) is a qualified professional registered under the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act 2024 [Act 861] to conduct energy audits for energy consumers and buildings. Appointed by the energy consumer or building owner, the REA is responsible for evaluating energy usage, identifying inefficiencies, and preparing audit reports in line with the Commission’s guidelines. These reports support compliance, performance tracking, and the development of Energy Efficiency Improvement Plans under the Act.
