Assignment Instructions:
Design and produce an instructional video on a vocabulary word of your choosing relevant to your teaching discipline and target learner grade level. Please use WeVideo: https://www.wevideo.com/
Criteria:
Minimum 3 shots, maximum 5 shots (must all be video, no photos)
Landscape orientation is required. Points will be deducted for recording in portrait orientation.
Title slide at beginning and end displaying word and definition
Minimum 1 visual effect applied to any clip
Minimum 1 transition between clips
Background audio music track
Field audio (dialogue) is optional
Maximum 30 seconds total (minimum 20 seconds of video clips required)
Exported as .MP4 and uploaded to YouTube (See video below on how to upload)
Submit in Moodle as a YouTube link
Tips:
Video must be original video that you shoot on your phone or camera.
Do not email yourself your video clips to edit, it will compress them and they will become low quality.
Plug the USB end of your phone charging cable into your computer, and plug the phone end into your phone to transfer videos and photos (tutorial videos below).
Alternatively, upload the files into OneDrive or Google Drive from your phone and then download them on your computer.
