You will use Base 10 blocks from our manipulative master list to add/subtract the following number sentences you will create using a random number generator.  

• Record yourself explaining your strategy for adding/subtracting making sure you include language for regrouping, as needed to find the solution.

  • Make sure you mention the process of regrouping, when needed within your video.   

• Use Random.org to generate two random Integer values between 100 and 999 which you will add together using your base ten blocks. Adjust the settings within the site before you click “Get Numbers” to be provided the integers.  

• Do this as many times as needed to fill in the number sentences. 

  • State your number sentences using the following:

• Value 1 + Value 2

• Value 1 + Value 2

• Larger Value - Smaller Value

• Larger Value - Smaller Value
