In response to the discerning preferences of the media savvy Generation Z demographic, our team suggests an instructional solution that strategically employs multimedia elements. We advocate for the creation of a succinct 3-5 minute multimedia presentation, which will explain the landscape of Educational Technology, encompassing details on career prospects and salary ranges to engage the audience. The utilization of Educational Technology methodologies to expound upon Educational Technology itself will provide learners with contextual understanding, fostering intentional and pragmatic comprehension.
Furthermore, our pedagogical approach will be developmentally appropriate with the incorporation of both instructional and evaluative components within the multimedia presentation. This dual-pronged strategy not only accommodates self-paced learning but also allows for expeditious feedback, prompting learners to seamlessly navigate supplementary resources embedded within the presentation.
Presently, our team is engaged in a meticulous examination of potential platforms for the development of this scholarly multimedia presentation. The candidates under consideration are comprised of 7 Taps, EdPuzzle, Blooket, Kahoot, Genially, Canva, Powtoon, Nearpod, and Peardeck, each warranting scrutiny for their academic efficacy and alignment with our instructional objectives.
