In an entirely rationalist "ideal city", a young girl will find herself having to escape, chased by the buildings, the architecture and the shadows of the city itself which will press her to the point of swallowing her in their most hidden depths.
The film intends to be an analysis of "rationalist space" and how the stereometric and architectural design of public places can be a vehicle for attitudes and social practices predetermined by an entity of "power".
“Monumentalism”, as defined by Ugo la Pietra and widely used by the fascist regime, is nothing more than a planning fallacy that favors form over functionality and which makes public spaces not only places of simple use but also devices for the creation of social hierarchies.
