Water Line and Sewer

Typically external copper water lines lasts 50-70 years. PVC sewer lines should last 100+ years. If you have an older house, it may be beneficial to get water or sewer plans. Replacing these pipes can cost upwards of $3,000. A monthly fee under $10 can protect your lines.

If your home insurance has these endorsements available and your lines are old, it would be a good idea to insure your lines.
